Mother's Day: Best Flowers are our daughters that blossom

For Mother's Day we went with a flower theme. Sienna and Aaliyah wore these adorable flower headbands. I bought these flower plates from Party City. The candles were purchased from IKEA. Those big paper clips I found at a schools Mother's Day boutique!. I put scrapbook paper into vase and added flower candy sticks. This theme could also be used for a Bridal Shower or adult birthday.

We were featured on Creative Parties and Showers!

Thank you creative parties and showers for all your kind words.

Pink Ladybug Birthday Party
This Pink Ladybug Birthday Party was originally hosted by the Party Bugs.

____________________________________________________________

I think my favorite thing about this party are the ladybugs "crawling" on the walls. I just think that was such a cute decorating idea. You have to notice them when you look at the pictures. The cake is also majorly stinkin' adorable!! LOVE IT! The ladybug theme was carried so well throughout the party. The gift boxes, the t-shirt, the decor and the invitation all contribute to making this the PERFECT Pink Ladybug Birthday!

Have a look, leave a comment, and then hop on over to the Party Bugs to see what else she's got going on! There is a TON to see!

Enjoy the Party Bug's party.....

Lights, Camera, Action!

To Celebrate a Movie Premiere I put on a Red Carpet Event. Party City has wonderful selections. I got the stars from Oriental Trading along with the Oscars!

These popcorn favors I got from the dollar bin in Target. I filled them movie treats; popcorn, M&M's and I put a Directors clapboard bought at Oriental Trading!

Daniel's Dr. Seuss Land

Daniel and Sienna rocked Dr. Seuss gear! They had a great time! Happy Birthday Daniel! Thank you Daneen, this was a lot of fun.

Small candy buffet featuring Thing 1 & Thing 2! We also placed the favors there.

I found these pails at the dollar store and we placed Swedish fish for Red Fish and colored goldfish crackers. A Cat in the Hat pencil and stickers.

All centerpiece ideas were given from Stem Parties I added a runner which are actually scarves that I got in Christmas Tree shop for about 40 cents! Clearance! I also added Dr. Seuss stickers to tablecloths, felt circles and of course Chinese lanterns (my favorite).

For the kids table we put real fish! For One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and those plates I got on clearance from Party City from last years 4th of July! The hats came from the dollar store which were actually Christmas hats! They were perfect!

I brought out elements from The Cat in Hat using these butterfly catchers. Also from Christmas tree shop for $1 each!

The figurines and toys around cake I actually found on EBAY for $2.90!

For drink charms I placed stickers on each of these glasses.

These are actually window clings that I used to make for a background.

It wouldn't have been complete without Green Eggs for Green Eggs and Ham!

Once again the lovely Benay helped in making Daniel's Coloring Book.

This was a favorite craft to do and very yummy! Winter and Cherry Lifesavers make the perfect Cat in the Hats.

Did you hear the pitter patter of the Baby Elephants? That was because they were at Aydin's Baby Shower

This was the sweetest Baby Shower yet! We went with a blue and brown color scheme and then incorporated elephants and candy. Easter came at a perfect time! I bought blue eggs that came filled with jelly beans. I got great deals with all the candy used. I also got very lucky with the blue Hershey kisses. They are actually coconut flavor!

I first placed candy vases on the actual centerpieces. There actually boxes for Aydin's room. Mommy can put toys, books, or clothes into them.

Notice how the elephants are holding pacifiers?!
This centerpiece was for the mommy. I got so lucky with this elephant trash bin!
For the candy buffet I put a label on Chinese containers

At each place setting was a gift as a favor!

I wrapped different size boxes to give different height at the candy buffet

Is it Halloween already? NO it's just Vjollaca's 7th Birthday

This party was a lot of fun and very cool to do.. When I meet with Vjollaca she said " I love skulls!" So I asked her, "How about pink ones?" I remember how Jennifer from HWTM for Halloween had done pink skulls. I went to Oriental Trading and saw how they have fabulous pink/pirate theme. I hung up my pink lanterns from Sienna's ladybug party. I painted that skull centerpiece. I used the napkins as place mates and boxes as favors and place cards. Vjollaca was surprised and very pleased. Please someone use this for Halloween!

Baptizing an Angel

For Sienna's Baptism we decided to go with an Angel theme.. It was simple but very elegant. I used a lot of white feathers throughout the party. The best party was Sienna's dress. Its actually my wedding dress! Sienna looked precious!

For table seating I googled Angel quotes, and put guests name on them. They also received an angel photo holder.
We had taken Sienna to get her photo's done and we put Angel wings on them.

Another favor which was a huge hit! Were chocolate bars that I personalized through Hershey.com. We put HERESHEIS and on back I was able to put an angel, manufactured by Mommy and Daddy, and Amounts Servings. I also laid out mini rosary beads.
At the tables I had small vases with White Roses and I put feathers into them..Very simple but elegant.

Michael from Roberto's Restaurant gave Sienna the cake as a gift. Didn't he do an incredible job?!
